Marbling with Acrylic Paint
This is a technique we developed after a fair amount of trial and error and experiment. It was inspired by the traditional Japanese paper marbling technique, Sumingashi. A process of creating marbling pattern on paper with ink floating on water. We tweaked the technique a little. We marbleize with acrylic paint on acrylic medium. This is quite a genius technique as you can create something so beautiful and sophisticated with a very very simple so foolproof and you can do no wrong. Look at those organic-marble-lava-lookalike pattern. Mesmerizing to watch how the pattern unfolds before our eyes during the process!
The final piece would be made up of two layers. A texturised base square canvas, and we will be marbling on the oval canvas.
